2013 4-H Speech & Demo Contests

Congratulations to all the boys and girls who wrote, prepared and delivered awesome speeches and demos for this year's contest. We learned about everything from making homemade modeling clay to creating fur costumes to horses--and everything in between.

Getting up and speaking in front of an audience isn't easy to do, so we offer our heartfelt praise for these brave kids!  And we know practice always makes public speaking easier--just look at the confidence and skill of our senior 4-H'ers.  So, keep at it!  We promise, it will get easier in time.

Please join us in congratulating these top honorees:

Junior Speech: 1st - Lindi Brown, 2nd - Amanda Bloxham, 3rd - Katie Peterson
Senior Speech: 1st - Aurora Quinn, 2nd - Kylie Felter
Junior Demo: 1st - Nathan Pearce, 2nd - Grace Stickler
Intermediate Demo: 1st - Lauren Pearce, 2nd - Rosie Smith
Senior Demo: 1st - Kylie Felter

Two senior 4-H'ers, Aurora Quinn & Kylie Felter, earned the opportunity to compete in state competition this July.  We wish them great success as they work toward a change to go to nationals with their speeches and demos!

Our judges were WONDERFUL! Thank you to Gayle Rich, Kari Breeding, Nancy Ford, Kelly Bradford, and Jodeen Minderink.
